With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Julia Sims (Ajax, Ontario), who passed away on January 19, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Victoria; her husband Ray Sims; her children, Margaret, Kathleen and John; and her great grandchildren, Ray, Gil and Margo. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, their spouses and partners, her nieces and nephews.
The start of the pandemic a week after moving in gave her a different experience there than she envisioned, but she took it in stride and celebrated her ninety-third birthday in the fall without uttering what would have been her first known complaint.
