Gail Lillian Bateman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Lillian Bateman (Ajax, Ontario), who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, George (Doris) and Vera Grosvenor (Frank); Thomas and Lillian Oakley of Toronto. She is survived by: her husband William Robert Bateman; her children, Stephen (Kimberly), Susan Heineman (Eric) and Thomas (Tina); her grandchildren, Devon, Justine of Kirstie, T. J., Joel, Maddison, Mitchell and Spencer; her sibling Morley; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Bateman (Wanda), James Bateman, Elaine Strauss and Marilyn Swinson (Danny). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario, a Food Bank or charity of choice.
