James William Taylor Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James William Taylor (Ajax, Ontario), who passed away on February 27, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ada Brown (Taylor) and George Taylor; and his parents, John Taylor of Dundee and Elizabeth Taylor (Keery) of Belfast. He is survived by: his wife Jean Taylor (Desaulniers); his daughters, Kim Taylor, Laurie Taylor (Barry Sears) and Cathy Taylor Tjin (Andy Tjin); his grandchildren, Daryl Tjin (Jordan Sutcliffe), Max Tjin (Grace Mackey Tjin), Ben Sears and Jack Sears; and his brother Bob Taylor.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McEachnie Family Centre (20 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T2W5).
Jim's wish was that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
