With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Fredrika McKaye (Ajax, Ontario), who passed away on February 26, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alan McKaye; her parents, Lloyd Smitheram and Ethel Smitheram; and her brother Ronald Smitheram. She is survived by: her children, Susan Frauts, Scott McKaye and Kevin McKaye; her children-in-law, John, Nora and Janna; her grandsons, Michael, Steven and David; her granddaughters-in-law, Samantha and Athena; her grandchildren, Amir, Erik, Daniel, Brock and Kyla; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Logan and Austin.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
