With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John David Newell (Ajax, Ontario), who passed away on May 24, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John David Newell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mona Costain Newell and John Fraser Newell; his brother Ted Newell; and his nephews, Bob and Randy Newell.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Atkinson; his daughters, Lauraine Armstrong (Terry) and Marguerite (Jay); and his nephew Brian Newell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T2Z7). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McEachnie Family Centre (20 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T2W5).
