He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Julie; his daughter Natasha; his parents, David Goulding and Madeline Goulding; his brother Stuart; his sister-in-law Cathy; his sister Helen; his siblings-in-law, Paula and John; his nieces and nephews, Jesse (Tony), Trevor, Kaylee (Alex), Lauren (Paul) and Jake (Kimmy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicolas, Evan, Hunter, Emma, Arya, Jackson, George and Mason; his pets, Lilly and Bandit; Jason, Brett, Bo, Winston, Emma, Josh, Benny, Monty and Eddie.

“I met John many years ago working at the Ford assembly plant in Oakville. We hit it off famously with many laughs and stories. The last time I saw him, he was cleaning out his garage about 6 years ago, and brought me a big load of car parts (that I had no room for either lol), and to this day, my wife's musclecar still has his transmission in it. The only way to describe John as a person was "super nice", a gentle giant if you will. We will miss you brother, see you on the other side.”

“I had the pleasure of working with John at Redpath. He was my foreman and the first person I reported to as a new member of Local 2309. As time went on I realised what a great guy he was to work for. If you worked with John you knew he had your back. He was the embodiment of the term my brothers keeper. Many of us became Golden Gloves in that place. :) Johns intelligence and sense of humour always carried the day. See you in Vallaha brother!!!”
