He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred and Mary; and his siblings, Don, Bill, Allen, Doug, Marilyn and Joan.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean; his children, Ellen Young, Doug Fraser, Scott Young (Karen) and Cindy McKinnon (Jim); his grandchildren, Miranda McKinnon (Stephen Wilfeard) and Jake Bell; and his brother Paul.
