He is survived by: his wife Renate Kusiak; his children, Robert, Michael (Claudia) and Sandy (Jim); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Kristina, Martina, Peter and Natalie; his sister Inge Freier; his nieces and nephews, Heidi and Dieter; and his great grandchildren, Kai, Isla, Claire and George.
