Bessie Kambouris wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Sharon and family, I was Leonard's VP for a short time, but it didn't take long to recognize what a kind & caring administrator he was. The most patient and gentle principal I have ever worked with and for that I am truly grateful. He spoke so fondly of his wife and sons that I knew he was a loving family man. I am incredibly saddened by his passing but I know he is in the arms of our Lord whom he loved so much and is rejoicing in a life well lived. My deepest condolences.”

Mark Bilmes wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Naismith Family, I want to start by saying how sorry I am for your loss. I sincerely valued the time I spent with Leonard as a colleague and a friend. I remember back to the beginning of the pandemic, 2020, when we faced a strange year with the pandemic raging and new protocols in place at school. Leonard steered us through this with compassion and understanding. From the beginning he made us feel valued and I respected and admired his values and humanity. He is already sorely missed.”

Anna Ng wrote a sympathy message

“I met Leonard over forty years ago when I asked him for directions to Greenwood Bible Chapel from the subway. I worked with Leonard in the evangelism ministry for many years and attended his home Bible study. I also worked with him in the Sunday School. He was a faithful, diligent, committed, and pleasant servant of the Lord. I have many fond memories of Leonard and the others I had served the Lord with at Greenwood. With love and prayers for Sharon and her family. Anna Ng”

When I met him, I was in Canada only few years and my English wasn’t very good. He tried to help and correct me and I was very grateful for that. His kind nature and patience made him such a good friend. He loved his family and was very proud of his sons. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to his family. We will all miss him.
