She was predeceased by: her spouse Sam Duraisamy; her siblings, Gladys, Mather Surendran (Lalitha), Tetley Mather (late Eva) and Sama Mather (Christine); her siblings-in-law, Gordon Duraisamy (Catherine) and Jeya Duraisamy (Bubby); and her parents, William Alagaratnam Mather and Rose Rasamalar Mather.
She is survived by: her child Rose Vasuki Jayasingam; her child-in-law Ernest Rohan Jayasingam; her grandchild Kyle Jayasingam; her siblings, Nathaniel, Barton Mather (Beatrice), Eliza Jogendra (Regis) and Suriakumaran Mather (Barbara); and her siblings-in-law, Nesam Arulampalam (late Christmas), Devi Canagasingam (Chelvam), Raju Duraisamy (Malar) and Ranji Bartlett (late Leslie). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
