We announce the death of Marilyn Patricia Mason (Ajax, Ontario), who passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 93. Marilyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Marilyn will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Marilyn will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Marilyn’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Weir and Bev Weir; and her husband Clark Mason. She is survived by: her children, Richard of Ajax, Beverley (late Terry Briggs) of Brighton and Wendy of Ajax; and her brother Don Weir (Doris) of Sudbury.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Paul's United Church (65 Kings Crescent, Ajax, ON L1S2M4).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
