Joe Amato wrote a sympathy message

“Willy had a good soul. He was a hard worker. He loved a morning shift on the paving crew or working the lumber off trees. At times I even looked at him as a craftsman of sorts. When my parents wanted a new patio built some 18 years ago, Willy and I volunteered our services and those stones still lay flat today! My buddy liked Stompin Tom, live music, Argo games, being outside and bringing a coffee for a friend. I think I even remember us reading newspapers together.Well the Sports section anyway!”

Melanie Bevins wrote a sympathy message

“My heart is broken for Mathew "Willy" Wilken's family. This loss is a terrible tragedy. Willy was always full of joy and genuine kindness. He could brighten any room and make everyone smile no matter what the situation. I'll continue to think of him fondly when I watch Argos games and hear Stompin' Tom songs. Love and hugs to his friends and loved ones. ~ Melanie Bevins”
