He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacey William Roach and Kathleen Bridget Roach. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ann Roach; his daughters, Kathleen and Kimberley; and his siblings, Kevin (Anne), Linda, Patrick (Donna), Brian (Debra) and Daniel (Veronica). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Michael's name to The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital) or The Alzheimer Society of Canada.
