Nancy will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Nancy by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Nancy is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Nancy’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Reginald'Reg'Edgar Young; her daughter Shelley Marie Boyd; and her parents, Reginald Rushmere and Beulah Rushmere of Windsor. She is survived by: her siblings, Gladys Oliver, Rose Marie Pongratz, Fred and John; and her daughters, Linda Young Barrett, Carol McNabb (John) and Sandra Sauve. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Despite being hard-of-hearing most of her life, Nancy lived a full and busy life, so skilled at lip reading that many didn't realize she couldn't hear, and it only became apparent when covid hit and everyone started wearing a mask!
