He was predeceased by : his parents, Daisy and Allan; his brother Dean; and his brother-in-law John Ashton. He is survived by : his wife Nancy; his children, Julia (Trevor), Allan (Tara) and Sharon (Peter); his grandchildren, Ethan, Tyson, Austen, Robyn and Taylor; and his siblings, Sheila (John), Kevin (Lorrie), Frank (Lillian), Barry (Heather), Colleen (Barry), Anne, Chris (Kimberly) and Jason (Andrea).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T1Z7). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the McEachnie Funeral Home Chapel (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T1Z7). A reception was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the McEachnie Family Centre (20 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T2W5).

Memorial donations to Myeloma Canada would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
