He was predeceased by: his brother Mark; and his parents, Adolf Knabl and Agi Knabl. He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Jason, Amber (Graham), Jennifer and Gibson; his sibling Michele (Ian); and his nieces and nephews, Lindsay, Leanne, Karissa and Katie. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rick's honour to Camp Ooch (a camp for kids and families affected by childhood cancer), or the charity of your choice.
