He was predeceased by: his parents, Casmir Mendonça and Esperencia Mendonça; and his siblings, Salvadore, Pascal, George and Regina.

He is survived by: his wife Celestine (Celly); his children, Kenny (Grace), Linda (Sean), Linette (Simon), Leera (Michael) and Chris (Raman); his grandchildren, Julia, Sariya, Maya, Nevaeh, Tayah, Saavina, Nishaan and Donovan; and his brothers, Augustine and Gregory. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Robert will be dearly missed by all members of his family and friendsIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a Covid-19 charity that will be determined shortly.
