He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Twomey and Elaine Twomey; his father-in-law Eldon Bruce; his brothers, Ronald (Judy) and Roger (Angela); and his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Bruce and David Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his children, Elizabeth and Tom (Susie); his close friend Mikey; his mother-in-law Elizabeth (Betty); his siblings, Walter (Sheryl), Barry, Colleen Trimm, Mark, Bert (Andrea), Joanne Richard (Dennis) and Harold; his brother-in-law Randy Bruce (Bonnie); and his cousins, Bruce, Cook and Perdue.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Robert's favorite charity, the Ajax-Pickering Branch of the Navy League of Canada via eTransfer to [email protected] or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
