He was predeceased by: his former wife Ethel Gwendolyn Tremblay. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, John, Marc (Janice), Anita (Damon), Peter (Michelle), Philip, Josiah (Merit) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Amber, Kara, Randall, Jordan, Erika, Alyssa, Tyson, Caleb, Elias and Prince; his siblings, Leo (Lise), Lina (Bruce) and Rachel; and also, Margaret, Wallace, Robert (Suzanne), Rien, Novelette, Carlene (Kitson) and Cory (Marisha).
