We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2021, at the age of 60, Teresa Mirella Torchia (Ajax, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Santo Beltrano and Maria Beltrano. She is survived by: her husband Salvatore; her children, Rosamaria (Michael) and Sergio (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Lidia, Adelina and Gabriella; and her siblings, Carmelina (Antonio) and Franca (Antonio).

The time slots are 4:00 -4:45 pm; 5:00 - 5:45 pm; 6:00-6:45 pm; 7:00 -7:45 pm. Each time slot has 33 spots available. Each registration allows for a maximum of 4 people under one name, so if you are more than one, please arrive all together. At the end of a time slot all guests must exit to allow staff to sanitize for 15 minutes and then to receive the next time slot of guests. As of July 1, 2021, the provincial directives require our funeral home to follow the guidelines for Durham Region for the current COVID restriction category known as Phase 2. Attendance in our Funeral Home is restricted to 25% capacity. Those in attendance must wear a mask or face covering in the Funeral Home and at the cemetery, and maintain a minimum distance of 2 metres between each other. The cleaning and disinfecting of all facilities between services will continue. The serving of food and refreshments is still prohibited. This Registrar’s Directive applies to funerals and visitations regardless of the venue. Please note that BAO inspectors monitor funeral establishments and cemeteries to ensure compliance and will enact swift measures for non-compliance.
