She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Plitz and Marie Plitz; her husband Kenneth Balsdon; and her siblings, Reta (Bob), Ernie (Irene), Gus (Hazel), Edward Doug (Esther), Susan (Hank), Mary (Ken), Beatrice (Al) and Sandra (Ray).
She is survived by: her sons, Murray (Karen) and Douglas (Phyllis); her grandchildren, Ryan (Shauna), Lisa (Jeff) and Aimee (Chris); her great grandchildren, Conor, Sean and Isabel; her sister Ingrid (Al Toms); and her sister-in-law Carol. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
