Passed away peacefully at home in Ajax on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the age of 91.

Beloved husband of Elsa.

Father to Lianne, Illya, as well as Tanya, and grandfather to his grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026 from 1:00pm - 2:00pm. A funeral service honouring Waldy's life will follow in the Barnes Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.
