He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Maidlow and Margaret Leggat; and his stepfather Vernon Barrett. He is survived by: his brother Gary; and his children, Chandra (Andrew Mudie), Valery (Mike Welsh) and Aaron. He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces, nephew, as well as cousins and many friends.
