It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Welsh of Alexandria, Ontario, who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Anita is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Gilmer and Kathleen Gilmer. She is survived by: her husband Wally Welsh; her sons, Alastair Welsh (Julie Welsh) and Andrew Welsh (Shannon Welsh); and her grandchildren, Ainsley Welsh (Josh), Craig Welsh (Sarah), Kaitlyn Welsh of Brockville, ON., Brynn Welsh and Abby Welsh (Josh) of Crysler, ON..
