She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford Wightman; her parents, James Alexander and Anna Bella McNaughtan; her son Donald; and her siblings, Theodore (Ester), Agnes (Edmond) and Duncan (Anne).
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl (Brian Fitzpatrick) of Kemptville, Jim (Leslie Owen) of Lancaster, Duncan of Bainsville and Shannon (Mike Malone) of Kanata North; her grandson Steven Wightman of Bainsville; and her sister Jean Gardner (late Melvin).
