He is survived by: his wife Monique Plourde; his children, Josee (Gabriel), Serge (Krystal) and Dominic; his parents, Ghislain Plourde and Lydia Plourde; his sister Nathalie Plourde (Marc Séguin); and his nephews, Alexandre and Nicolas Gauthier. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, extended family, and many cherished friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario), where Dominic has received care.
