He was predeceased by : his parent Alfred. He is survived by : his wife Elaine Villeneuve; his children, Darlene MacGregor (Steve), Micheline Sabourin (André), Brian Villeneuve (Lynne), Diane Kelly (Ian) and Roxane Villeneuve; his grandchildren, Matt (Traci), Andrew (Lynn), Jillian (Simon), Brandon, Colton, Katelyn, Devon, Dawson, Jarret, Graham, Jeremy and Justin; his parent Ida (Landerman); and his siblings, Lily Maisonneuve (Guy) and Albert (Jeannette). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Joan Sterling wrote a sympathy message

“Joan and I would like to send our condolences to Elaine and the Villeneuve family. I served with Noble over his entire career as an MPP from1983 to 1999 and can attest to his dedication and hard work on behalf of his constituents and all the people of Ontario during this period of time. As a fellow MPP from Eastern Ontario I greatly appreciated his insight in our rural communities. Noble was a kind and generous man who had great understanding of those who were struggling and spoke often on their behalf both in Caucus and Cabinet meetings. He was one of the most respected and admired MPPs of the Legislature. Joan and I shared many happy events with Noble and Elaine both at the Legislature and in his Riding. We were devastated when Noble had a stroke and suffered so much in the latter stages of his life. Elaine Villeneuve is a Saint. Her care for Noble was that of a loving partner. Unfortunately we are down South caring for two of our grandchildren or we would be with you to share in the celebration of Noble's achievements during his life. Noble was admired and loved by many for all he did for his Province and Country. We express our love and admiration to both you Elaine and Noble. Norm and Joan Sterling”
