He was predeceased by : his wife Natalie Byrne; his parents, Thomas Cuthbert Byrne and Doris Edith Ott; and his sisters, Barbara and Patricia.

He is survived by : his children, Debbie (Jim), Susan, David (Beverley), Andrew (Maureen) and Elizabeth (Richard); his grandchildren, Heather, Janis, Jason (Cheryl), Matthew (Chris), Michael (Shauna), Shauna, Christopher (Miranda) and Mack; and his great grandchildren, Elliot, Alex, Peter, Luke and Luka.

Donations made to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
