Sophie Dauner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Sophie Dauner (Alexandria, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Sophie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sophie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sophie leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her husband Franz Dauner; and her parents, Jakob Steidl and Anna Steidl. She is survived by: her sons, Siegfried Dauner and Eric Dauner (Tracy); her grandchildren, Tyler (Alayna) and Brandin; and her great grandchild Oliver.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
