With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Benton of Alexandria, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on June 23, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Esther Benton, Janice Benton, Violet Shorey, Arthur Benton (Gwen), Allan Benton, Donnie Benton (Pauline) and Burns Benton (Joan); and his parents, John D Benton and Violet Benton.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Benton; his daughter Diana Benton (Robert Lang); his siblings, Margaret Dickson (Edwin) of Maxville, Dwayne Benton (Sandy) of Apple Hill, Bryce Benton (Mary) of Cherry Valley and Lynne MacDonald (Barry) of Maxville; his sister-in-law Dale Lafave; and his pet Snooky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame Cemetery (17945 S Branch Rd, South Stormont, ON K6H7T7).
