She was predeceased by: her parents, Falconio Lavoie and Marie Brazeau; and her sisters, Françoise (late Alphonse Boudreault), Mathilde (late Herbert Hirstwood), Marie-Paule (late Robert Sarrazin), Elmina (Mina) and Reine.
She is survived by: her siblings, Louise, Christiane, Liette (Denis Séguin), Gérard (Odette Rouleau) and Jean-Luc (Johanne Marcil); and her godson Jean-Sébastien Lavoie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as a multitude of friends.
