He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Blaney and Pearl Johnston; and his sisters, Grace (Willard Presley) and Marina (Ivan Robillard). He is survived by : his wife Myrna Wylie. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
