She was predeceased by: her parents, Pierre Theis and Paula Theis; and her husband Georges Vander Poelen. She is survived by: her sons, Marc Vander Poelen (Sue) and Luc Vander Poelen; her grandchildren, Jenna (Scott), Justin (Alex) and Aléna; and her sister Marie-Louise Krings (late Harold). She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
