She was predeceased by: her parents, Patricia McDonald and William McDonald. She is survived by: her daughters, Janice (Robert Tee) and Carolyn (Andrew Windsor); her grandchildren, Rachel, Lauren, Alex, Elizabeth and Abel; her siblings, Ellen (Max), Cathy, Christina (Les), Belinda (Charlie), Michael (Jennifer) and Mary Jane (Fabian); her friends, Tish, Wilf, Marie, Christine, Calvin, Paula, Dave, Yvonne, Mary, John, Sharyn, Terry, Randy, Trudy, Calista, Butch, Mara and Liz; and her sisters, Ashley and Hawco. She is also survived by her 9 nieces and nephews and her great-niece and nephew.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to either Matthews House Hospice, or Princess Margaret Hospital.
