With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bob Leest (Alliston, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Bob left this world on October 31, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Marsha; and his granddaughter Jacqueline. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his sister Marianne; his children, Linda, Barry (Diane), Richard (Rael) and David (Wendie); his grandchildren, Derek (Amanda), Marja (Laurence), Trevor, Amy (Arthur), Matthew (Hannah), Steven (Yangqian), Sara (Steve), Melissa (Andrew), Liam (Michaela), Lacey, Alexis and Laura; and his great grandchildren, Mavis, Jacquelyn, Hannah, Jenelle, Megan, Deklan and Everleigh.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Alliston Christian Reformed Church (28 Downey Ave, Alliston, ON L9R1J7). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Matthews House Hospice in Alliston, in honour of Bob's lifelong service to others and in gratitude for the Hospice's compassionate care during his final days.
