Gordon Deegan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Deegan of Alliston, Ontario, who passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Deegan and Margaret Deegan; and his siblings, William Deegan (Mary Deegan), Thomas Deegan (Helen Deegan), Andrew Deegan (Marion Deegan) and Rosemary Deegan.

He is survived by: his wife Irene Deegan; his children, Brian Scott Deegan (Lesley Pysklywec) and Roslyn Dawes; his grandson Fletcher Gordon Dawes; and his brothers, James Deegan (Anne Deegan), Matthew Deegan (Irene Deegan), Kenneth Deegan (Jean Deegan) and Gerard Deegan (Susan).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Matthews House Hospice or the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Health.
