He was predeceased by: his wife Melinda; his parents, Claude Rodriguez and Claire (Fred Archer); and his sibling Chris Linda. He is survived by: his siblings, Rick Rodriguez (late Carolyn) and Rose Stubbs (Phil); and his stepbrothers, Ron Archer (Mara), Don Archer (Jean) and Tom Archer (Cheryl).
