He was predeceased by: his mother Winifred. He is survived by: his children, Andrew (Maegan), Jill (Phillip) and Kelly (Cole); his wife Gerri; and his grandchildren, Grayson, Amelia, Wolf, Wilder, Winter, Elliot, Eve and Sam.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Gibson Centre (63 Tupper St W, Alliston, ON L9R1E4).
In lieu of flowers, please honor Dougie by pursuing your passions, valuing your chosen family and playing the occasional practical joke or two. Donations to Sunnybrook's ALS Clinic or Sick Kids Hospital are also welcomed.
