He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Mason and Ann May Mason; his stepfather Edgar Plester; his wife Lynda Mason; his child Corrina (Frank Gibson); his grandsons, Scott (Deanna) and Josh (Toni); his great grandchildren, Everleigh and Noah; his siblings, Dolly Hills (Mario Mahne), John Plester (Dawn) and Steve Plester (Gloria Parks); Larissa, Tom Mason (Pauline), Pat Wagner, Sharon (Don McLeod), Donna (Jack) and Carolyn.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Rose Knowlton (late Philip), Kathy King (Bruce), Cindy Preston (late Ted), Joe (Pauline), Mike (Helen), Garry (Bev) and Bob.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Drury Funeral Centre (519 Victoria St E, Alliston, ON L9R1K1).
