Lorne Peters Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorne Peters (Alliston, Ontario), who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarke Peters and Reta Peters; his siblings, Marjorie Peters and Charlie Peters; and his sister-in-law Kathryn Dobson.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Peters; his children, Michelle Rotchell (Trevor) and Clarke Peters (Alison); his grandchildren, Liam, Joshua, Rory, James Peters, Lachlan and Waverley Rotchell; and his brother Murray Peters (Lee). He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the W. John Thomas Funeral Home (244 Victoria St E, Alliston, ON L9R1V6). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
