Martha Pauline Stokes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Pauline Stokes (Alliston, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 19, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Lloyd" Stokes; her parents, Bob Gatecliff and Alice Gatecliff; her sisters, Lena MacDonald (Jack) and Lillian Somes (Fred); and her in-laws, Robert, Della Stokes, Albert Stokes, Margaret Stokes, Emma Gallerno and Clifford Stokes.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy; her grandson Hunter; her siblings, Norma Kettle (Richard), Ila Boshaw (Terry), Kerry Hayden (Dave Shearim) and Grant Gatecliff (Bonnie); and her sisters-in-law, Karen Hart (Larry) and Edith Stokes (Clifford). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made in Pauline's honour to Matthews House Hospice in Alliston or Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston.
