He was predeceased by : his parents, Helena and Samuel; and his siblings, Howard, Ed, Chris, Joseph, Marg and Matilda.

He is survived by : his siblings, Helen (Jack), Melita (Mike), Genny, Gerard (Donna) and Albert (Cecile); and his friend Tony Candel. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
