He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Winter and Irene Winter. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Sally (Andrew) and Emily (Gabe); the mother of his children Gillian; his stepdaughters, Kim and Lynzy; his grandchildren, Sam, Olivia, Juliette, Jaydin, Daeja and Alainnah; and his siblings, Joan (Gary) and Paul (Helen).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the W. John Thomas Funeral Home (244 Victoria St E, Alliston, ON L9R1V6). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Matthews House Hospice in Alliston.
