It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Muriel Kuzyk in Alliston, Ontario, born in Everett, Ontario, who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Ovens and Kathleen Ovens of Alliston; and her sibling Shirley Kuzyk (Ovens). She is survived by: her husband Ernie Kuzyk of Winnipeg Manitoba; her children, Gregory Kuzyk (Aseel Kafil) and Laurie Ogilvie; and her grandsons, Jordan Ogilvie and Trevor Ogilvie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the W. John Thomas Funeral Home (244 Victoria St E, Alliston, ON L9R1V6). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. When their home became too much to care for they spent their later years in a retirement community, where they had a short 2 years together during the Covid period..
