She was predeceased by: her son Richard "Rick" Sym; her parents, Damien Pelland and Mathilda Pelland; and her siblings, Emile (Marguerite), Joseph (Olive), Gerard (Violet) and Henriette (Jean).
She is survived by: her children, Gladys Dangel (Sym) and Brian; her grandchildren, Sherrie Snow (Dean) and Shawn Bassett (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Samantha, Logan, Connor and Leah; and her brother Gerry (Vi). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
