Ruth McArthur Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth McArthur (Alliston, Ontario), who passed away on February 10, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sibling Jean (John Paskaruk); and her parents, Gordon Wilson and Hazel Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Ken McArthur; her daughters, Heather McArthur of Barrie and Jennifer Hoogstad (Marcel Hoogstad) of Alliston; her grandchildren, Brianna, Garret and Owen; and her siblings, Don (Iva Wilson), Anne Wood (John Guy), Carol (Sheldon Ottman), Harry (Sue Wilson) and Kathy (Chuck Morley). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
