It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sean Minister (Alliston, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Victoria Marie Wilson (Will) and Colin Minister; his grandchildren, Michael, Theo, Carter, Ben and Denny-Marie; his siblings, Kathleen Minister Watson (Rick), Janette Minister Brown (Ed) and Ken Minister (Karen); his stepmother Ghislaine Lemire; and his stepsisters, Barbara and Shantel. He is also survived by nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the W. John Thomas Funeral Home (244 Victoria St E, Alliston, ON L9R1V6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Matthew's House Hospice in Alliston, whose compassionate care brought comfort to Sean and his family in his final days.
