She was predeceased by : her parents, Barbara Slack and Clifford Slack; and her brother-in-law Mark. She is survived by : her husband Paul; her children, Jessica (Sean Barbour) and Nicholas (Shona Tait); her brother Tim Slack (Lorraine); her brother-in-law Brian Gastaldi (Gail-Lynn); her grandchildren, Maelle, Isla Barbour, Fergus and Emerie Gastaldi; her stepmother Ruth Bilous Slack; her stepsiblings, John (Tina) and Tricia; her niece Brianna; and her nephews, Jonathan, Marshall and Cole.
