He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert George Tustian and Mary Elizabeth Farquhar; and his siblings, Elmer (Maxine), Jean Hodgson (Joe), Bill (Ruth), Orval (Eva) and Mary Boyle (Owen).

He is survived by: his wife Alma Tustian (Smeltzer); and his children, Marilyn Hill (Stephen), Michael (Lynda), Mark (Donna), Doug (Crystal), Jeanne Lefebvre (Marc) and John (Vannetta). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
