He was predeceased by: his son Rick Raymond Eastep; his parents, Robert Eastep and Grace Eastep (Weitzel); and his father-in-law Raymond. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Eastep (Grose); his children, Neil Eastep of Guelph, Dale, Kim Eastep of Lavigne and Kimberley Eastep (Gregory Blake) of Whitby; his grandchildren, Katie, Caleb and Keegan; his siblings, Bob (Gladys Eastep), Glen (Bev Eastep), Don (Linda Eastep), Shirl Shaffer (Steven Nicols) of Texas, Audrey (Don Stutzman) and Tom (Sharon Eastep); and his siblings-in-law, Gordon, Christine Grose of Alma, Walter and Sharon Grose of Alma. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Grand River Cancer Centre or Creekside Church, Waterloo would be appreciated by the family.
